Directions Alternative Program is for students who, although capable, and for a myriad of reasons, may not be thriving in a regular classroom setting. Using alternative methods of instruction and community-based learning, “Directions” is committed to helping students who have lost touch with their educational potential. By redirecting their at-risk behaviours and helping them face any obstacles in the way of their learning, this program has a high rate of success. Entry into the program includes recommendations from teachers and administrators, and interviews with perspective students and their families.
Directions Alternative Program is available for Grade 10 & Grade 11.
